Yay! You are graduating and that is definitely worth celebrating with a fun photo session! I offer senior sessions in the spring and fall. I personally love both seasons so much, so it is up to you (and my availability) on which you want! For more info, please contact me!
On the session day all you have to do is arrive on time and be ready to smile! I will make picture taking quick, painless, and fun! Working with kiddos is also a lot of fun for me even if they aren't "behaving"! ;)
After the session you can expect your full gallery to be delivered in your inbox within 2 weeks! All images can be downloaded directly to your phone or computer and shared on social media too.
From the moment you submit a contact form or shoot me an email I am invested in you and all your session details! I try to keep the whole booking process as smooth as possible. Once I have your info, I will email you a contract and invoice that you can sign digitally and also pay online too.
About 1 week before the scheduled session, I will send out a reminder text/email to make sure you still are planning on it. I also am available anytime for any questions you may have about outfit choices or colors.
My postproduction time for all portrait sessions is 2 weeks. Sometimes less, depending on how busy the season is.
Choosing a high-quality printing company is crucial to make sure your images look great! Cheaper labs such as Walmart, pharmacies, SnapFish, Shutterfly, etc. are not always going to print your photos with the right coloring or correct sharpness. You can use them if you choose, but I am not responsible for how they turn out as it is a printing lab issue, not a photo quality one. My top 3 recommendations for printing are Mpix, Parabo Press, and the lab connected with my galleries.
I think that neutrals always look very nice and clean together. You can definitely incorporate some color in as well, but if you are in doubt, neutrals will always look nice! Pinterest is also a great place to search for color palette options for all different seasons and location scenarios. Also... if you are still having a hard time deciding what to wear, please reach out to me and I will definitely help you out or give a second option if needed! :)
I get this question a lot!
So, my family session days are 30 min time slots and I have found it is the perfect amount of time to get a decent number of photos without the kiddos (and husband sometimes) getting tired of it! ;) I have a system that I use to work very effectively, and I really feel 30 min is a great timeframe. However, if you do want to book the 1-hour session for your family those sessions are very fun too! They tend to have more walking around to different locations and much more of a lifestyle feel to them. I really love them both so much!
Yes! If there is a prop that you really love or means something to you definitely bring it and I will incorporate it some way or another. For family sessions I do bring some small chairs, stools, etc. for the kiddos, but you can also bring something additional. If you want to bring a prop to a newborn session that is fine as well. My studio is stocked with a large variety of hats, headbands, wraps, blankets, and other posing stuff that you can use too.
